WILDWOOD CREST – The following results are from Wildwood Crest’s summer basketball program:
High School Boys
July 18
Victorian Gardens Landscaping 44, Big Time Vending 43: Alex Hunt and Joey Andrews each collected 10 points for the winners. Patrick Moore’s game-high 17 points and Seamus Fynes’s eight points led Big Time Vending.
Alfe’s Restaurant 58, Smitty’s Parking 47: J.P. Baron poured in 25 points and David Durham added 17 points for Alfe’s. David Zarfati exploded for 30 points in the loss.
Casiello Construction 54, Crestfully Clean 50: Max McGrath (12) and Thomas Gault (10) each scored in double figures for CC. Tommy Bolle netted 16 points and Anthony Porter had 12 points in the loss.
July 20
Victorian Gardens Landscaping 43, Alfe’s Restaurant 32: Riley Watkins and Corlen Vallese each accounted for nine points for VGL. David Durham’s 12 points topped Alfe’s.
Casiello Construction 39, Smitty’s Parking Lots 30: Luke Cassidy topped a balanced attack for Casiello with 11 points. Domenic DeMarco (14) and Kevin Castro (10) led Smitty’s.
Big Time Vending 50, Crestfully Clean 41: Seamus Fynes posted 11 points and Jimmy Kurtz registered 10 points for Big Time. Anthony Porter tallied 13 points and Torey Harris added 11 points in the loss.
Grades 6-8 (Boys)
July 17
Dogtooth Bar & Grill 63, Poppi’s Pizza 45: Manny Weaver pumped in 27 points and Archie Lawler added 26 points for Dogtooth. Junior Hans posted 27 points and Ryan Troiano chipped in 14 points in the loss.
Russo’s Market 43, Duffer’s Ice Cream 37: Michael Zarfati paced all scorers with 16 points and Jimmy Kane contributed nine points for Russo’s. Ryan Andrews scored 14 points and Lance Lillo added 11 in the loss.
Original Hot Spot 62, Cone Crazy 50: Patrick McGuinn accounted for 16 points and Adam Dille scored 14 points for the winners. Macky Bonner (16) and Luke Basile (14) led Cone Crazy.
July 19
Duffer’s Ice Cream 42, Dogtooth Bar & Grill 38: Carter Short collected 19 points and Ryan Andrews added 14 points for the winners. Manny Weaver led all scorers with 20 points and Cade Vogdes chipped in nine points in the loss.
Cone Crazy 47, Poppi’s Pizza 32: Jacob Bey netted 22 points and Aydan Howell chipped in eight points for Cone Crazy. Junior Hans scored 15 points and Ryan Troiano added five points for Poppi’s.
Original Hot Spot 44, Russo’s Market 41: Jared Johnson (14) and Anthony Trombetta (11) led a balanced scoring attack for Hot Spot. Michael Zarfati paced all scorers with 20 points and Jimmy Kane chipped in nine points in the loss.
Grades 3-5 (Boys)
July 17
Adventurer Oceanfront Inn 31, Domino’s Pizza 25: Ty Bonner scored 15 points and Trevor Troiano added eight points for the winners. Luke Rachubinski swished 14 points in the loss.
Hot Spot IV 42, Wawa Markets 29: Nathan Dwornik tossed in a game-best 22 points and Stephen Kmetz added 16 points for the winners. Chris Papageorgiou scored nine points for Wawa.
July 19
Hot Spot IV 35, Adventurer Oceanfront Inn 34: Nathan Dwornik’s 18 points and Stephen Kmetz’s 13 points led Hot Spot. Ty Bonner topped all scorers with 24 points for Adventurer.
Domino’s Pizza 34, Wawa Markets 33 (OT): Luke Rachubinski recorded 22 points and Tyler Bryson added six points for Domino’s.
