WILDWOOD – Wildwood will celebrate “National Night Out” 2011 on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. The festivities will take place at Fox Park located on Montgomery and Ocean Avenues in Wildwood. The celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. and run until 8:30 p.m. Come meet your local police officers and fire fighters for a night of FREE food, fun, and activities.
National Night Out, an annual nation-wide event, is designed to promote neighbor safety and provides an opportunity from neighbors to organize against crime. The Night’s festivities should heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen police community relations, and generate community support for crime prevention.
