The West Cape May Environmental Commission presents Free Pizza and Family Movie Night from 6-8 p.m., Feb. 2, at West Cape May Borough Hall, 732 Broadway, West Cape May. Join your neighbors and friends for a free family movie. This beautifully filmed, empowering documentary combines themes of a father’s love and support for this daughter along with the importance and beauty of nature. A thirteen-year-old girl’s dreams take flight in this magical movie staring a golden eagle. The movie is well suited for children as well as adults.
Free pizza will be offered at 6 p.m. Before the movie, Dr. Trish Miller will give a kid-friendly presentation about the ecology, behavior, natural history, and conservation of golden eagles. Dr. Miller and her husband, Mike Lanzone, have been studying this enigmatic bird in eastern North America for over a decade. The movie is rated G. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
