West Cape May Elementary Students Honor Borough Veterans

West Cape May Elementary School hosts borough veterans to lunch Nov. 11 during a program that recognized veterans for their service to the nation.

WEST CAPE MAY – The West Cape May Elementary School hosted its Veterans Day Program Nov. 11.
According to a release, local veterans from West Cape May were invited to a luncheon, sponsored by the Brigantine Elks Veterans Committee and Stocks Bakery, Philadelphia.
Following the luncheon, there was a ceremony honoring veterans with students reading poems. The choir sang and guest speaker James Toto addressed students.
The veterans were also treated to a goodie bag filled with items from the students and Operation First Response.
