Voice of Democracy Award Winners Announced

COURT HOUSE — Veterans Of Foreign Wars (VFW) Peterson-Little Post 386 (Cape May) and Lt. Charles Lewis Post 5343 (Villas) are pleased to announce the winners of the annual post level Voice of Democracy (VOD) award for 2015. The VOD awards winners are Bridgett Martin and Patrick Holden, both of Lower Cape May Regional High School.
The VOD has been a VFW scholarship program since 1947. Over 40,000 high school students compete for over $2 million in scholarships by recording an audio essay. This year’s theme was, My Vision for America. Awards are made at the local, county, state, and national level.
