Villas Elks Lodge, Others Accepting CG Donations

The American and Coast Guard flags are reflected in windows of building at Coast Guard Training Center

VILLAS – The shutdown in Washington is hurting Coast Guard families who are not receiving paychecks.  
The Elks Lodge 2839, 907 Bayshore Road Villas will be collecting dry goods, non-perishables, toiletries and gift cards for local supermarkets to be given to Coast Guard families in need.
Those interested in helping, should drop off goods at the Elks lodge any day after noon.
Anyone not able to drop off goods,  contact Dennis Lennon, 609-440-2101, and he will pick up goods.
Other collection points for Coast Guard donations:
First Assembly – Cape May,  1068 Seashore Road, PO Box 707, Cape May. Any donations received will be delivered to the Coast Guard.
Cape Christian Academy, 10 Oyster Road, Court House
American Legion, 4200 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood
Seaville Fire Department, 36 Route 50, Seaville
