SEAVILLE – Upper Township Green Team is looking for volunteers for its roadside cleanup along Corson Tavern Rd. in Seaville at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 20.
They are doing Corson Tavern Rd. from New Bridge Rd. to Seaville Shores Campground.
The Green Team will receive several hundred dollars from the Clean Communities program for their volunteer efforts and funds will be used as “seed monies” for the 2018 Upper Township Farmers Market.
If interested in volunteering, email Ralph Cooper at UpperTwpGreenTeam@yahoo.com or call 464-0920 and leave a message. A count is needed for picking up supplies. However, walk-ins are welcome.
The Green Team will meet up at the intersection of Caledonia Dr. and Corson Tavern Rd. (parking along Caledonia).
They suggest bringing work gloves.
Upper Township provides the reflective vests, plastic gloves and the black and white trash/recycle bags.
If there are four to six volunteers, work should be done in about 90 minutes.
