Upper PRO Club Semi-Annual Adopt-A-Road Clean Up

By Press Release

TUCKAHOE – Nine members of the Upper Township’s People’s Republican Organization (PRO) Club participated in a successful community road cleanup on Oct. 27.
2012 marks a decade of community clean sweeps for the PRO. More than a dozen bags of trash and recyclables were collected.
“This is a fun way for the PRO to do its part in keeping Upper Township green,” explained Dr. Janice Lake Betts, PRO president.
The group cleaned trash and recyclables from the sides of Tuckahoe Road/Cape May County Road 631. The Township of Upper is responsible for disposing of the trash.
The People’s Republican Organization was formed to advocate and promote the ideals and principles of the Republican Party and good government.
For more information about the PRO, please contact president Dr. Janice Lake Betts at jlbetts@comcast.net.
