MARMORA – Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 20 North Shore Road, Marmora, New Jersey, is hosting a FREE day-long family-friendly Christian Music Festival, Trinity Praise Festival 2015, on Saturday, July 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the field located in the rear of the church property. Having a Praise Festival was the vision of Trinity’s Pastor Jun Yoshimatsu. The church has been expanding its music program for the past two years with an eye toward incorporating praise and worship to its weekly services. The church has already expanded its traditional service to incorporate an adult choir and has hosted several musical events including choral performances by the Neumann University Concert Choral and musical guests from New York City and Japan.
The Praise Festival is the culmination of months of preparation and dedication by the congregation with Pastor Jun at the helm!
The festival will include 8 contemporary Christian bands from the tri-state area including LIFT FM DJ and recording artist Dez Childs, Delmarva Idol winner Dawson Coyle, Philadelphia recording artist Joe Miralles, International recording artists Peace II the Puzzle accompanied by the ReeCrew Band, Lighthouse Praise Band, St. Peter’s Praise Band, Never Forsaken and Pastor Jun on the acoustic guitar. The event will also include children’s games, crafts, pony rides and face painting, vendors including local artisans and artists, food concessions and volleyball.
