MARMORA — Trinity United Methodist Church (“Trinity”) and United Methodist Communities (“UMC”) invite you to an informal question and answer session at Trinity on Tues., Feb. 21 at 6-7 p.m. in the church. The purpose is to review a proposed very important project which Trinity feels will help the town, the seniors in town, as well as the church.
We are partnering with United Methodist Communities (“UMC”) to develop the property adjacent to Trinity for senior citizen housing. UMC, as you may know, is a non-profit provider of senior services in NJ for more than 100 years. UMC’s facilities in Ocean City are The Shores (at Wesley Manor) and Wesley by the Bay.
The senior citizen building is planned to have 50 one-bedroom apartments and an additional unit for a live-in caretaker. We will have renderings and floor plans for you to look at. The proposed apartments will be age restricted and rents will be moderately priced.
We hope you can attend on Feb. 21 and look forward to speaking with you. It is our hope that after all the facts are discussed at the meeting, enthusiasm about this project will be the result.
