Traffic Advisory: Half Marathon Could Delay Traffic May 17

WILDWOOD — Due to the Wild Half Marathon, traffic may be delayed or detoured during the hours of 6:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., May 17 on the following roads:
North Wildwood:
• JFK Boulevard
• 1st and 2nd Avenue
• Spruce Avenue
• Angelsea Drive
• North Wildwood Boulevard (Rt. 147)
• Ocean Drive (no access to Stone Harbor from Ocean Drive)
Wildwood:
• Ocean Avenue from Cresse Avenue to Garfield Avenue
Wildwood Crest:
• Ocean Avenue from Cresse Avenue to Palm Road
• Bike Path from Palm Road to Cresse Avenue (no bike access)
Drivers should expect delays at times and are encouraged to find alternative routes, if possible. If driving near or on the route, use extreme caution, as 3,000 athletes will be running on the roads. Police and volunteers will assist athletes and residents at intersections.
