Now that this is my last year, I can confidently look back and know that joining was the best decision I and my parents made.
Our club has an array of activities. From offshore fishing and the annual camping and kayaking trip, to beach cleanups and back bay boat trips, there is never a dull moment as a Tightlines member. We don’t let a rainy day keep us from having fun, either. When the rain keeps us from getting in a great day of fishing, we spend the day inside learning how to tie rigs and about different fishing equipment, so that we’re ready for the next sunny day.
We meet the first Monday of the month and are always welcoming new members. Our members have been spending time cleaning up the fairgrounds as well as building and maintaining a fish pond full of aquatic plants and animals. Be sure to stop by and visit us at this year’s Cape May County 4-H Fair. Members can be found at the dunk tank, so stop by and say hi. We hope to see you at our next meeting, or during the fair on July 20, 21 and 22!
