OCEAN CITY – On Sat., March 3, the pageants for Outstanding Teen and Princess were held in Ocean City. To a packed house, the entrants participated in individual interviews, on-stage questions, fitness, evening gown, and talent. Each girl wowed the audience with her grace, stage presence, and talent.
The judges selected the following: Addison Soens, who presented a vocal talent, was crowned “Little Princess”. Tegan Soens, from Avalon, danced her way to “Junior Princess”. Taylor Carr, from Ocean City, did a dance routine, and won “Pre-Teen Princess”. Madison Kennelly, from Ocean City, did a jazz dance, and was crowned “Miss Cape May County Outstanding Teen”. Congratulations to each girl who participated and to the winners.
Thanks to each volunteer and to every business and organization who donated to make this year’s pageant a memorable one.
Sea Isle City – I miss the Nativity scene they used to display outside the historic St. Joseph’s church on Landis Avenue! It was a true reminder of the reason for the season!
