NORTH WILDWOOD – This year’s Mid-Atlantic Police and Fire Survivors’ Weekend, scheduled from Oct. 2-4, 2015 in North Wildwood, has been cancelled due to forecasted weather conditions. Mid-Atlantic Police and Fire Survivors’ Weekend (MAPFSW) is a series of events that recognize truly forgotten heroes: the survivors of fallen law enforcement officers and firefighters, including family members and co-workers. Preliminary plans are to pay tribute to the 2015 honorees during next year’s Survivors’ Weekend scheduled for Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2016.
