Street Rod owners from throughout the East will display over 200 of their colorful vehicles during the 35th annual Shore Rod Run in Ocean City.
Cars will be exhibited in the parking lot of the Sports and Civic Center, 6th St. off Boardwalk, from noon till noon, Sept. 11-13.
There will be a boardwalk showing of vehicles Sept. 12 from noon till 4 p.m.
The event attracts car owners from hundreds of miles away. Rodders vary in occupation from construction workers to corporate executives. They are creative about how they enhance their vehicles and often decorate cars with colorful painted designs.
There is a craft show at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace, Sept. 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
A fashion show is set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday inside the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace, featuring clothing from Gabrielle’s of Ocean City. Admission is free. This event is open to the public.
