Stone Harbor Police Sergeant Receives Police Academy’s Academic Award

STONE HARBOR – On June 18, retired State Police Lt. William Perna Sr., representing the Gloucester County Police Academy’s, Police Supervision and Leadership School, presented the class award to the officer who achieved the highest academic average in the two-week, 80-hour, three Masters Credit School.  
According to a release, after completing 80 hours of instruction and two comprehensive exams, the highest academic average was achieved by Sgt. David Hartzell.  
The award was presented at the Stone Harbor Borough Council Meeting.
