Stanley Cup Set to Visit Sea Isle City, July 17

By Press Release

SEA ISLE CITY – Los Angeles Kings Assistant Coach John Stevens (a local homeowner) is bringing the Stanley Cup to Sea Isle City on July 17. Thanks to the Kings’ NHL Championship win earlier this year, Stevens is allowing the members of this community to get a close-up look at the celebrated trophy, which will be on display on the 57th Street Beach, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..
Each member of a Championship NHL team is given the rare opportunity to share this experience with members of their community – and Sea Isle City is very happy to welcome the Stanley Cup to town.
“We could not be more excited that Coach Stevens offered to bring the cup to Sea Isle City,” said Mayor Leonard Desiderio. “I realize this is officially Flyers Country, but I’m sure everyone will agree that it’s quite an honor to have the Stanley Cup visit our community.”
