The Herald has implemented a new software application to support your Spout Off submissions to us. The submission form looks and works much as it did before and, as always, submissions will be anonymous (if you happen to be logged in when you visit the submission page, you will be reminded to log out to maintain anonymity). So, the submission process remains the same. The difference is how Spout Off submissions are presented online.
Spouts will now be published online in a way that will allow authenticated users to comment on an individual topic. Additionally, users can search Spout Off by town or keyword, vote on each Spout, and share over social media and email. We hope these new tools will help members of the community find and engage with each other on the topics that matter most to them.
Spout Off submissions will be published online at least weekly (as they have been), perhaps more frequently. You’ll find this presentation of Spout Off submissions and comments under the Opinion tab in the blue menu bar; the link is labeled “Spout Off: Read & React.”
Spout Off submissions will be published in a print edition much as they are now; except, when we publish a Spout Off submission in the print edition, we may also print the entire “thread” – sharing your online comments with the print audience.
The forum previously known as the “Interactive Spout Off” is no longer affiliated with Spout Off. The “Cape May County Forum,” as it is now called, has been deprecated but will remain accessible for the foreseeable future. It may be accessed via a link labeled “CMCo Forum” under the Opinion tab in the blue menu bar.
Thank you for reading, and writing, Spout Off.

Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
