Sophie the Scarecrow Makes Debut at Physick Estate

CAPE MAY – The Garden Club of Cape May has finished creating Sophie, a scarecrow sowing seeds of kindness for Scarecrow Row.
According to a release, Sophie was recently photographed with 10 of the 14 members who designed and created her. Sophie will be on display at the Physick Estate on Washington Street, Cape May, through Nov. 4.
Sophie, Sowing Seeds of Kindness, is also giving away flower seeds for hummingbirds and butterflies.
The Cape May Garden Club is dedicated to the enjoyment and promotion of gardening, conservation and education through meeting, guest speakers and community service projects, according to Judy King of the Garden Club of Cape May.
