SOMERS POINT– Shore Physicians Group breast surgeon Dr. David May, GFH Surgical Associates breast surgeon Dr. Desiree D’Angelo-Donovan and Advanced Radiology Solutions women’s imaging specialist Dr. Alicia Daniels will provide free breast screenings and one-on-one consultations as part of Shore Medical Center’s Free Breast Health Education Event on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, from 8 am to 2 pm in the Shore Medical Center Department of Radiology.
During the course of the event, which is being staged as part of national Breast Cancer Awareness Month, women will receive education about performing breast self-exams. Also included throughout the day will be complementary hand and chair massages, information about the NJ CEED Program for the Uninsured and Shore’s Cancer Center and Smoking Cessation programs, as well as giveaways and refreshments. Mammograms will also be available with a prescription from your physician.
