STONE HARBOR – Shake off winter and take the plunge, the polar plunge at the 4th Annual Stone Harbor Shiver on St. Patrick’s Day Weekend. The Shiver starts March 14 at a Pre-Plunge party held at the Stone Harbor Yacht Club from 6 to 9 p.m. $15 per person includes food, cash bar, music, raffle and auction. Proceeds from the Pre-Plunge party benefit, in part, Family Promise of Cape May County.
Then put on your costume and come back to Fred’s Tavern on Saturday morning at 9:30 for “Kegs ‘n Eggs” the parade, costume judging the actual plunge and finally, a Post-Plunge party at Fred’s.
For more information, visit the Facebook page, “Stone Harbor Shiver” or call the Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce, 609-368-6101.
Family Promise of Cape May County is a faith based outreach that has as its only goal, helping Cape May County’s homeless families get back onto their feet. We are not a homeless shelter. Participating church congregations provide accommodations and meals for our families. We are a 501c3 tax exempt organization, and volunteers, donations and all forms of support are always welcomed. See our website www.familypromisecmc.org for more information, or contact us by phone: 609-846-7862.
