Sea Isle City’s Girls Weekend was a Huge Success

By Press Release

SEA ISLE CITY – Each November, the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization hosts “Girls Weekend,” which allows ladies to enjoy a weekend-get-away at the shore prior to the start of the busy holiday season. This year’s Autumn Girls Weekend Nov. 22-24 once again featured discounts and special offers at businesses throughout town.
Girls Weekend included discounted gourmet meals and happy hour drink specials, bargains on lodging and salon services, and a variety of great deals at local shops and specialty boutiques. Shoppers also enjoyed complementary refreshments at many businesses – along with discounts on lodging, wine tastings, karaoke, live music and dancing.
According to event co-organizer Jamie Heritage, of Heritage Surf and Sport Shop on Landis Avenue, the weekend was a tremendous success.
“Girls Weekend was phenomenal,” said Heritage. “We met ladies from Ocean City, Avalon, the Wildwoods, Pennsylvania and as far away as California. Everyone was really excited about the great bargains, the fun environment, the refreshments and everything else that was offered. All of the ladies I met were having a great time – and that was our main goal.”
