SEA ISLE CITY – The Sea Isle City Historical Society will host an Arbor Day celebration April 28, at noon, at which time an ornamental cherry tree will be planted in the Sea Isle City Historical Museum’s Memorial Garden, on the grounds of the Sea Isle City Library, 4800 Central Ave.
During the event, a plaque will be unveiled, and the tree will be dedicated in honor of all past, present and future Historical Society volunteers as a way to thank them for preserving the city’s history.
After the ceremony, attendees will be invited for light refreshments inside the museum.
All guests will also be given a free tree seedling in honor of Arbor Day.
This event is being held in conjunction with the Sea Isle City Environmental Commission, the Sea Isle City Shade Tree Committee, the Cape May County Library System and the City of Sea Isle City.
