Wildwood High Students Show Support During Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month

By Press Release

WILDWOOD – Peer Leaders from Wildwood High School recently coordinated its Kids Caring for Kids program to show their support for our county children during Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention month. During the initiative, 350 Blue Ribbons were distributed and worn by students and staff as part of Cape May County’s Show Kids You Care Campaign. The Faculty also participated in a “Causal 4 Kids” day by wearing blue and dressing down in order to contribute $200 to the Caring For Kids program for its direct services to neighborhood children. Wildwood teacher coordinator, Paula Lucas said “Coming together and wearing blue, was just one small way for all of us to demonstrate our help and our hope of making this a Blue Ribbon World for all of our children”.
