Wildwood High Students Assist C.A.R.A.

By Press Release

WILDWOOD – Wildwood High Students joined forces to help create Easter eggs and baskets for children and families of the Coalition Against Rape and Abuse (C.A.R.A.).
On April 5th, students used assembly line production in the school cafeteria to fill over 300 plastic eggs with candy and other goodies, combining them to form baskets for families that C.A.R.A. is assisting. Spearheaded by WHS senior Aaron Markley and his family, the Easter goodie bags were distributed to 50-60 children who were unable to participate in traditional egg hunts.
Involved with the project were: Jeydi Serrano, Bryan Seda, Danielle Ayedolotte, Dorothy Steward, Tiffany Breslin, Sinai Pelaez, Aaron Markley, Yaritza Taulet, Zach Madle, Anthony Madle, Courtney Davis, Shelby Thornton, Jose Otero, Zorymar Vega Medina, Layla Abu-Arquob, Kirby Thornton, Betty Harshaw, Cindy Markley, Robert Markley and Becca Hartein. National Honor Society Advisor Shannon King, WHS Guidance Counselor, and All-Star Trading Cards Program Director Betty Harshaw coordinated the efforts of the students.
