WILDWOOD — The entire City of Wildwood became Warrior maroon and white Oct. 3 – 5 when students and staff at Wildwood High School, a National Blue Ribbon School, celebrated their annual homecoming with a parade, naming of the homecoming court, dance and football game.
As part of the Oct. 3 kickoff to Homecoming Weekend, students paraded through the city on movie-themed floats accompanied by the school’s marching band and football team. The following day students attended an assembly at the school where Commissioner Pete Byron crowned this year’s homecoming queen and king.
Byron, who is the parent of three alumni of the school, said, “I was thrilled to participate in such a great tradition.”
