WEST CAPE MAY – West Cape May School District is pleased to have been selected as a choice district by the New Jersey Department of Education on April 29, 2011.
The New Jersey Interdistrict School Choice program provides the opportunity for non-resident students to attend West Cape May Elementary School at no cost to their parents/guardians. Any public school student in Kindergarten through 6th grade who lives within twenty (20) miles of West Cape May Elementary School is eligible to participate.
West Cape May Elementary School has fourteen (14) choice seats for the 2011-2012 school year. Six (6) choice seats have already been filled; there are eight (8) choice seats still available.
West Cape May Elementary School provides an excellent education and small class sizes in an exceptionally nurturing environment. The average class size is ten (10) students.
Parents who are interested in participating in this program are required to inform their home district by Monday, May 2, 2011 by hand delivering a “Notification of Intent to Participate” form. The “Notification of Intent to Participate” form is available at the West Cape May Elementary School located at 301 Moore Street in West Cape May.
