VIDEO: Sandman Students Plan Their Future at Career Day

By Rick Racela

ERMA- About 25 speakers presented their careers to students for Career Day at Sandman Consolidated School in Erma on Thursday, Mar. 6.
Students moved from room to room, learning about careers such as being a police officer, teacher, bank manager and a sports writer. They got a chance to make bouquets, eat food prepared by a chef, and hold live frogs.
Outside the building, a dog trainer showed the students how obedient his dogs were, and a helicopter pilot landed just a short distance away.
