VIDEO: Regional Students Rehearse ‘Sweet Charity’

More than 50 students are in rehearsal for Lower Cape May Regional High School’s spring musical “Sweet Charity.” The Neil Simon play, originally choreographed by Bob Fosse, features the songs “Big Spender,” and “If My Friends Could See Me Now.”
“Sweet Charity” ran on Broadway beginning in Jan. 1966 for 608 performances. Shirley MacLaine starred in a film version in 1969.
The musical features 22 scene changes and full cast dance numbers. Performances at Lower Cape Regional High School run March 13-16.
