U.S. Soldier Honors Alma Mater: Wildwood High

By On Deck Staff

1999 Wildwood High School graduate, Christopher Hines Brown, was moved by the support he received from his alma mater during his recent tour of duty with the U.S. Army in Iraq.
So he decided to return the kindness. On June 12, students and faculty, local and state officials, and Brown’s family joined him on the steps of Wildwood High School where he presented a flag to Principal Gladys Lauriello.
The flag is a unique honor for the school because it once flew over Brown’s base in Iraq.
