Time Capsule Opening Set for Sam Azeez Museum

By Press Release

WOODBINE – Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the time capsule at the Sam Azeez Museum of Woodbine Heritage is about to be opened.
When the Museum opened on June 9, 2003, the current class of first graders from Woodbine Elementary School placed items in a time capsule to be opened when they reached eighth grade.
On Thursday, May 19, at 10:30 a.m., those now eighth graders (accompanied by the current seventh grade) will be at the Museum to open the capsule for the “Grand Reveal”.
After the disclosure of things remembered, new contents will be placed in the capsule to be opened at a date to be determined.
