Students ‘Horse Around’ at Bishop McHugh

COURT HOUSE – Students at Bishop McHugh received a lesson in horsemanship from Joe Beisel, Chief Warrant Officer, Mounted Unit, Cape May County Sheriff’s Office. Beisel shared what horses eat, how they are raised, and how to care for them properly. He also discussed their role in police work. Students in preschool through grade 8 had an opportunity to interact with the horse, and Bishop McHugh teachers were offered a ride.
