Cape Christian Academy fifth grader, Haily Becica, won first place in the fifth grade division of the Mid-Atlantic Christian Schools Association Spelling Bee recently. She placed second place overall. The competition included fifth through eighth graders from six regional schools.
At the recent Association of Christian Schools Regional Science Fair, eighth grader, Matthew Burkhead received a second place medal for his project entitled “The Co-efficiency of Restitution.” Also placing in second were Jonathon Spriggs and Laurel Crain with their project entitled “The Factors Affecting the Stability of a Boat.”
St. Ann
Mrs. Marie Peltier and the 8th grade had an Easter egg hunt for their Kindergarten prayer partners. The sun was shining and the children had a wonderful time finding eggs with their names on them.
It’s a St. Ann tradition for the 8th grade to coordinate this annual event. Next year the tradition will continue at Cape Trinity Catholic!
