Cape May City
Parents who suspect their school-age child may be handicapped can now get free help from their local school districts.
Cape May City Elementary School is taking part in CHILD FIND, a statewide program to locate and provide services for those children age 3 to 5 who may have physical, mental, or emotional difficulties.
Screening, professional guidance and an educational program (if needed) are all available free of charge through the school.
These are possible signs of a special handicap:
• Child has trouble seeing people or objects
• Child has trouble hearing voices or other sounds
• Child is unusually quiet
• Child cannot pronounce words properly
• Child has particular health problems

Dental Assisting continues to diversify and expand. Whether working chair side with the dentist, taking x-rays or managing the business office, teaching or working in insurance or sales, dental assistants are vital to the success of the dental practice.
To commemorate Dental Assisting Recognition Week, March 2-8, 2014, Cape May County Technical School Post Secondary Dental Assisting students were recognized for their commitment and dedication to dental health care.
“Dental Assisting: Embracing the Changes of the Profession” is the theme for the 37th annual Dental Assistants Recognition Week: time for dental assistants to receive greater recognition for their own unique and diverse contributions to the dental profession and the dental health care of the public.
The American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA), a recognized voice of dental assisting for over 80 years, the American Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Assistants Association and the Canadian Dental Association, sponsors dental Assistants Recognition Week.
The Cape May County Technical School is now taking registrations for the pre-entrance test for the next Dental Assisting class, scheduled to begin in September 2014. The program is a full time; 10 month program and applicants must meet the entrance test requirements, be 18 years of age by October 15, 2014 and possess a high school diploma or equivalent to be eligible for the program.

Middle Township
Middle Township High School will be hosting its second Annual College Fair on Wednesday, March 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the A Gym. Visit our school website at www.middletwp.k12.nj.us for the list of participating colleges. Come out and see what these colleges have to offer.
Stone Harbor
