Recognitions Flow at Cape May Tech

CREST HAVEN — Feb. 20, the Cape May County Technical High School FFA (Future Farmers of America) Chapter officers and other key stakeholders coordinated an awards presentation. The event served to recognize advisory council member contributions and other members’ accomplishments.
The FFA student-led event included awards to incoming members and recognition of advancement of current members, students of Ms. Joann Sopchak’s Agriscience and Horticulture Technology program of study, and Ms. Hanna Toft, FFA advisor and Natural Science Technology teacher. Special attendee recognitions included a thank you to Superintendent Dr. Nancy Hudanich, recognition of Ms. Lisa Roach, Exploratory teacher and dedicated FFA chaperon, and a visit from past-advisor, retired Mr. Hans Toft.
The Culinary Arts Technology program of study students hosted the luncheon in the school’s American Bounty Café. The students were presented with a certificate of appreciation by the FFA Chapter. The FFA is a national youth organization of over 500,000 members, preparing for leadership and a future in the science, business and technology of agriculture.
