WILDWOOD – The 23rd Annual Islandwide “Junior High Night” took place in the Wildwood High School gymnasium April 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Seventh and eighth graders from Wildwood Middle School, Cape Trinity Catholic School, Margaret Mace School and Crest Memorial School participated. The goal was to get the most points for the evening, and the junior high students walked, ran, hopped, jumped, skipped and crawled to win for their teams.
The junior high delegations were scored for most school spirit, best sportsmanship, best artwork, and best depiction of the overall theme, “Positive Energy…Just Vibe With It!” Wildwood High senior varsity athletes coached the student participants, local residents were the relay officials, and elected municipal officials and other community representatives handled judging responsibilities.
