Nominations for Atlantic Cape Distinguished Alumni Due Feb. 1

By Press Release

MAYS LANDING – Atlantic Cape Community College’s Alumni Association Advisory Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2019 President’s Distinguished Alumni Award. The award recognizes Atlantic Cape graduates who have distinguished themselves through professional, personal, public or community-based accomplishments.

This prestigious award demonstrates Atlantic Cape’s dedication to strengthening its alumni relations. Visit atlantic.edu/alumni to nominate an Atlantic Cape graduate for this honor by Friday, Feb. 1.  Nominations received after the deadline will be considered with next year’s group of nominees.

To recognize the Atlantic Cape Foundation’s 40th Anniversary, the Alumni Advisory Committee will select four recipients for the 2019 award; one each from the late-1960s/1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. The Alumni Advisory Committee will additionally select four nominees under the age of 40 that represent our finest rising stars. New for this year, the Top Four Under 40 category serves to recognize young alumni that are excelling in their professions, contributing to their communities, and demonstrating a commitment to Atlantic Cape’s mission and values. The committee will present these recipients to the college president for approval.

Recipients of the President’s Distinguished Alumni Award are honored during a special dinner hosted by Careme’s Restaurant on the Mays Landing Campus. Recipients will also be recognized at the college’s commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 23, 2019.
