COURT HOUSE — Middle Township Recreation Department held its first annual Easter Coloring Contest, sponsored by the Middle Township Council on the Arts. The contest was for the elementary students from Pre-K to fifth graders broken down into four divisions.
The Middle Township Council on the Arts picked up the coloring pages from the schools to hang them up in the hallway of Town Hall and providing the prizes for the winners.
The recreation depart-ment issued its thanks to the art teachers in Elementary No. 1 and 2 for assisting in this contest. Also to the judges: Dawn Stimmel, Joyce Bramble, Rita Kirk, Debbie Dunbracco, Matt Stazell, Alan Cropper, Dave Schofield with Mark Mallett being the tie breaker vote.
Winners: Pre-K & Kindergarten division: First Place, Rylee McFadden; second Place Kani Perry, and third Place, Justen Wen, all of Court House.
Winners: First and second grades, first place: Olivia Reinert, second place: Julianna Kirsch, both from Court House; third place, Tyler Roemchild of Del Haven.
Winners: Third and fourth grades: First place Rowan Karavangelos, second place Janea Tozer Murphy both of Rio Grande, and third place Cierra Westfield of Court House.
Winners, fifth grade: First place, Urvi Patel; second place Joe Patitucci, and third place Miranda Tarqum, all of Court House..
