COURT HOUSE – A Middle Township High School staff member is on administrative leave in the wake of an allegation of acting improperly with a student sometime within this month.
Superintendent Michael Kopakowski confirmed the action May 8, but could not comment further on the identity of the person or the allegation.
“Our immediate concern is the health and safety of our children. When discharging my responsibility, I must remove any staff member alleged to have acted improperly with students. We are going to work with all appropriate state agencies, and, if appropriate, will conduct our own investigation. We must maintain privacy and confidentiality,” said Kopakowski.
“I want to mention that all persons are innocent until proven guilty,” Kopakowski added.
