COURT HOUSE — The Middle Township Education Association will host a “Meet the Candidates Night” on Monday, April 6 at 7p.m. in the cafeteria of Elementary No. 2.
According to a release, the annual event is hosted by the teachers’ association and monitored by the League of Women Voters. Candidates will answer questions from the public, as well as present statements regarding their opinions on school issues.
When voters in Middle Township head to the polls on April 21st, they will have six candidates from which to choose, each vying for one of three 3-year seats on the Middle Township Board of Education. The following candidates have filed the necessary paperwork to run for open positions: Rosalind Jefferson, Andrew Melchiorre, Daniel Money, Stephanie Thomas, Barbara Wagner, and Leon Wagner.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend this event. Those in attendance will be able to pose questions, randomly selected by the monitor, to the candidates. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, please contact the Middle Township Education Association at (609)602-0562.
