LOWER TOWNSHIP — Lower Township Council honored Victoria McCann, a senior in Lower Cape May Regional High School with a 4.1 GPA and who is ranked in the top 15 percent of her class.
McCann serves her class as a Peer Leader and a Teen Ambassador. She also participates in many extracurricular activities including Key Club, Renaissance Club, 4-H Equestrian Club and Cape May County Mounted Drill Team.
McCann is a competitive horseback rider placing as Champion and Grand Champion in numerous competitions.
McCann, who has aspirations on becoming a veterinarian, has applied and been accepted to multiple colleges, including Penn State, Johnson & Whales Auburn, the College of Charleston and the University of Findley.
Council congratulated McCann on her well-deserved accomplishments and wished her well on her continued path to success.
“We are proud to call Victoria one of Lower Township’s shinning stars,” said Mayor Erik Simonsen.
