MAYS LANDING – Atlantic Cape Community College is offering free financial aid application assistance at 6:30 p.m., April 22, at the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike, room B-136. Financial aid professionals can help you navigate the federal financial aid process and complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
This free workshop is designed to assist students and parents in beginning and completing their FAFSA. All federal grants, loans and federal work study program funds are awarded based on the information provided on the FAFSA. This application is free and every student should complete this application, regardless of a student’s family’s financial status.
Students wishing to attend college in summer 2015 should bring their 2013 tax return. Students planning to attend college beginning in fall 2015 should bring their 2014 tax return. Students who are under age 24 also need to bring their parent’s tax return. Additional documents necessary to complete the form are the student’s Social Security card and parents’ Social Security cards, if the student is under age 24.
