FAR Atlantic City Branch 13 Establishes Scholarship for Student Veterans, Active Service Students

MAYS LANDING — On Thurs., Aug. 11, Atlantic City’s Fleet Reserve Association Branch 13 (FRA) donated $1,000 to Atlantic Cape Community College to establish a scholarship fund that will be available to student veterans or students in active service attending Atlantic Cape beginning fall 2017.
The Fleet Reserve Association serves veterans from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Coast Guard. Branch 13 has 110 members and is one of the larger branches in the country. They have received recognition for years as the branch with the greatest membership growth.
