CREST HAVEN – Recently, Chef Sculptor Douglas Gomersall, proprietor of Living Ice, was honored as the New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools 2017 Business Partner for the Cape May County Technical School District.
Dr. Nancy Hudanich, Superintendent of the Cape May County Technical School District, said, “Tonight’s special honoree is the founder/owner/operator of a local business who has for 25 years shared his culinary and sculpturing knowledge, talent and skills with students in a number of Career and Technical Education programs, including the Commercial Art, Pre-Engineering, Career Exploratory and most importantly Culinary Arts.”
Hudanich added, “Cape Tech students are provided the unique opportunity of real-world experiences that increase their understanding of creative and innovative skills, entrepreneurship for local and global citizenship, while at the same time building their resumes that will help them obtain college scholarships and lead to rewarding career opportunities.”
