CMCSSSD Staff Members Recognized

COURT HOUSE — Cape May County Special Services School District staff members attended the Opening Day Convocation on Wed., Sept. 1.
Individual staff members were honored for 10, 20 and 30 years of service with a plaque presented by Board of Education President Lenora Kodytek.
Education Foundation Director and Treasurer, Jerry Stauffer, awarded over $15,000 in mini-grants to staff members who developed innovative lessons and programs for the coming year.
Superintendent Barbara Makoski addressed the staff and asked them to reflect on renewing their “collective and individual commitment to the students and the art, science and craft of educating them.”
Students, who come from all areas of Cape May County, began school on Tue., Sept. 7.
