COURT HOUSE – An idea by a second grader has mobilized the students at Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School to put on a talent show to benefit the pediatric patients at Cape Regional Health System. Bishop’s Got Talent will take place on Fri., Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. at BMRCS, 2221 Route 9 North, Dennis Twp., (near mile marker 20).
Greta Rebecca Kleinman, age 7, approached her parents with an idea to help children who are suffering from various health issues. Greta met with school administration and a representative from Cape Regional Health System to share her idea. The event is being planned by student CARES Ambassadors, a group of fifth to eighth grade students, working with Greta and adult volunteers.
The show is open to the community. There is a fee to attend. Children under age 3 are free. There also will be food for sale, and a silent auction. Proceeds from the show will be used to purchase equipment and supplies to enhance the pediatrics department at Cape Regional.
