Each year the Catholic Daughters of the Americas holds an Education Contest for students in grades six through eight. The themes this year were: “Jesus loves us”, “How do we spread that love?”, and “How do I promote peace in the world?”.
Mrs. Vera McQuillan presented awards to the following Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic school students on behalf of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court, Our Lady of Mercy 1655.
The following sixth grade students received awards for their poetry submissions:
