COURT HOUSE – Atlantic Cape Community College will provide information for those looking to earn their degree, begin a new career or enhance job skills at an open house, noon-3 p.m., April 6. This event will begin in the Walter Edge Theater at the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike, with information sessions to follow.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet college faculty and staff, apply for admission, tour the campus, learn about financial aid options, win an iPad, and discover how to launch a new career with a college degree or short-term training certificate.
Participants can also attend information sessions that provide an overview of specific areas, including: Parent Information, Testing, Financial Aid, Career Opportunities, The Academy of Culinary Arts, Nursing and Health Care, New Media Studies, Aviation and more.
Atlantic Cape students who wish to continue their education without leaving the Mays Landing Campus can obtain information about degree completion programs through Rutgers and Fairleigh Dickinson universities.
Atlantic Cape’s transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities ensure a seamless transition to a four-year bachelor’s degree program. Students can save more than $50,000 in tuition and fees at a four-year college or university by spending their first two years at Atlantic Cape.
The event is free. Register for the open house at http://www.atlantic.edu/openhouse/.
Sea Isle City – I would like to let everyone know that the fire chief salary also includes 4% raises in the next four years, while they offered public works and everybody else much less.
