MAYS LANDING — Atlantic Cape Community College will hold information sessions for those interested in learning more about careers, education and degrees in Paralegal Studies, 6-7:30 p.m., Aug. 4, at the Mays Landing Campus, J Building Lobby, 5100 Black Horse Pike, and Aug. 6, at the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road.
The Paralegal Studies Program is an American Bar Association-approved program. The open house is designed for those who are interested in learning more about the program. The program is intended to train students to become paralegals, not to provide training for lawyers or legal administrators. Atlantic Cape offers two Paralegal Studies degrees, an Associate in Applied Science and an Associate in Science.
Some students may qualify for credit toward the Paralegal Studies degree program for previous experience through a Prior Learning Assessment.
There is still time to register for fall classes, which begin Sept. 2. Visit www.atlantic.edu/fall for a complete listing of fall classes and the steps to enroll at Atlantic Cape.
For more information on the Paralegal Studies information sessions, contact Marilyn Malerba Keiner, professor of business and paralegal studies, at keiner@atlantic.edu or (609) 343-4941.
