COURT HOUSE — If you are considering beginning a new career in the health care field, the Health Professions Institute at Atlantic Cape Community College is offering short-term training that can put you on the path to a new profession.
Atlantic Cape prepares students for careers as a:
• Certified Medical Assistant
• Certified Nurse Aide
• Certified Home Health Aide
• EKG/Monitor Technician
• Emergency Medical Technician
• Patient Care Technician
• Phlebotomy Technician
These comprehensive training programs run from six weeks to seven months, and prepare you to earn the license or certification required by area employers. In addition, the clinical experience gives you practical, hands-on perspective that employers value.

Sessions will be held at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.: 10 a.m.-noon, July 7; 2-4 p.m., July 21; 10 a.m.-noon, Aug. 11; 2-4 p.m., Aug. 25; 10 a.m.-noon, Sept. 15; and 2-4 p.m., Sept. 29.
Sessions are offered at the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House: 10 a.m.-noon, July 14; 2-4 p.m., Aug. 18; and 10 a.m.-noon, Sept. 22.
